Image analysis

DMelt supports image analysis and image comparisons. You can make histograms using image data, and calculate many values that characterize images, such as Peak signal-to-noise ratio, often abbreviated PSNR, or Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). See the definitions Signal-to-noise ratio (imaging) and Peak signal-to-noise_ratio.

DataMelt uses Catalano framework for such calculations. See Catalano.Imaging.Tools.ObjectiveFidelity Catalano.Imaging.Tools.ObjectiveFidelity for such calculations.
