During construction, the vessel was referred to as 'Project Bravo and was also sometimes referred to by her yard number, Y718.[3] The yacht had its technical launch on February 14, 2017 at Zwijndrecht. It was moved to Oceanco's other shipyard at Alblasserdam in the subsequent hours for outfitting.[4] The yacht was delivered on December 20, 2018.[5] Bravo Eugenia is owned by Jerry Jones[6] who named it in honour of his wife, Gene.[7] In 2020, Jones made his NFL draft onboard the vessel.[8]
