Engineering:CSCA UAV

From HandWiki

SSC UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Beijing Skyship-Century Aviation and Technology Co., Ltd. (CSCA, 北京中天华航航空科技有限公司), whose UAV products cover fixed and rotary wing aircraft, blimps, and ballons.

SF-GS

SF-GS UAVs are first UAVs developed by CSCA, and they are unmanned blimps that have been deployed in aerial photographic / cinematography missions in the celebration of forty-eighth anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, fiftieth anniversary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and other events. SF-GS is no longer in production and is succeeded by SSC series unmanned blimps, but some of them are still in service. During its decade long service, SF-GS series unmanned blimps have also been deployed in engineering and industrial missions such as setting up power lines.[1]

SSC unmanned blimps

SSC unmanned blimps are gasoline-powered unmanned blimps developed by CSCA, and they are named after their respective length. For example, if a SSC blimp is 11 meter long, then it is named as SSC-11D. SSC unmanned blimps utilize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) subsystems such as autopilots and ground controls from MicroPilot.[2][3]

SSC unmanned helicopters

SSC unmanned helicopters are two-stroke gasoline-powered unmanned helicopters developed by CSCA, and a total of two have been identified by 2013, the smaller SSC-H260 with fuselage constructed of carbon fiber, and the larger SSC-H800 with fuselage constructed of aluminum – maginesium alloy. SSC unmanned helicopters utilize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) subsystems such as autopilots and ground controls from MicroPilot. Both unmanned helicopters are equipped with rotors constructed of carbon fiber. H stands for Helicopter.[4]
