Efly-Hobby UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Shenzhen Efly-Hobby Enterprise Group Co., Ltd. (Efly-Hobby, 深圳易飞企业集团有限公司). Traditionally, Efly-Hobby has been a remotely controlled toy airplanes manufacturer, but in recent years, it has expanded its business to the UAV arena based on the extensive past experience in the remotely controlled toy airplanes business. EF008 and YF700 are examples of Efly-Hobby’s attempt to venture into UAV business.
EF008
EF008 is an unmanned helicopter with coaxial design. EF008 is marketed by the developer as a cheap training device with low operational cost for other more advanced unmanned helicopters which are more costly to fly, because remotely controlled toy airplanes are not sufficient to simulate flight conditions of the more advanced UAVs. However, it’s not known if any are in service with Chinese military or law enforcement because no information has been released on this matter.[1] Specification:[2]
