Engineering:Kamra-e-faoree

From HandWiki

The Kamra-e-faoree is a handmade wooden camera; it is both a camera and a darkroom in one. Afghanistan remains one of the last places on earth where photographers continue to use this simple type of instant camera for means of making a living. Generations of Afghans have had their portraits taken with it, usually for identity photographs. It was outlawed when the Taliban as former rulers of Afghanistan banned photography, forcing photographers to hide or destroy their equipment.[1]
