Kingtec UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Kingtec Aviation Industry Co, Ltd. (Kingtec, 重庆金泰航空工业有限公司) and have entered service for military, agricultural and industrial applications.

CH001

CH001 is a fixed-wing UAV developed by Kingtec with a rather unusual layout in that it adopts a joined wing design, and this design makes CH001 has almost the exact layout like another Chinese UAV SAC Soar Goose, except CH001 is only around half the weight of SAC Soar Goose. Like Soar Goose, CH001 is also powered by a two-blade propeller driven pusher engine mounted at the empennage. CH is an abbreviation of Chang Hang-Shi (长航时), meaning long endurance. CH001 has a wide tricycle landing gear system, indicating that it would operate from unprepared strips. Specification:[1]

  • Empty weight (kg): 30
  • Payload (kg): 8
  • Max takeoff weight (kg): 38
  • Wingspan (m): 3.646
  • Height (m): 0.5
  • Max speed (km/h): 120
  • Range (km): 1300
  • Endurance (km): 12
  • Propulsion: two-stroke 150 cc internal combustation engine

Drones

As of end of 2014, two drones produced by Kingtec have been identified, and they are JTT-40 and JTT-60. Both drones are powered by turbojet engines, with the numbers in their respective names denoting the thrusts their engines deliver. In addition to being used a targets, these drones are also capable of performing reconnaissance missions when configured as spyplanes. When using as drones, the reconnaissance payload is replaced by Luneburg lens. The layout of JTT-60 and JTT-40 are identical to that of another two Chinese jet powered UAVs: Hexiang HFT-60A and Hexiang HFT-40A, and the two pairs propabably share most subsystems, as most Chinese UAV developer do. JTT-40/60 differ from HFT-40A/60A in a unique design feature of Kingtec jet powered UAVs: their airframe can be configured to resemble a variety of modern military aircraft for realistic simulation, so Kingtec UAV can take various shapes in addition to that of original HFT-40/60.[2]

GZ001

GZ001 is sometimes also referred as G01 and it is an unmanned coaxial helicopter with a pair of skids as landing gear, with GZ short for Gong Zhou (共轴), meaning coaxial (rotor). GZ001 share the same technology of the one-person manned coaxial helicopter, and both are developed with the help of Beihang University.[3] Specification:[4]

Multirotors

As of end of 2014, two multirotors produced by Kingtec have been identified, and they are DZ001 and DZ002 respectively, with DZ short for Duo Zhou (多轴), meaning multi axis (rotor). Both multirotors are intended for agricultural and industrial missions with a pair of skids as landing gear.
