Наверное, я двигался по этой синусоиде нашего развития, и в какой-то момент, когда вдруг советские люди, молодые люди странным образом ощутили себя наследниками таинственного, загадочного, громадного русского исторического прошлого, я, вслед за многими себе подобными, кинулся по деревням, кинулся в поисках рушников, сарафанов, песен, икон, прялок, и тогда я погрузился вот в эту восхитительную этнографию, вместе с тем, в восхитительную мифологию, которую отчасти сам себе создал.
