English: Statue of a hunting dog. The statue was found, together with another which was not fully preserved, in the sanctuary of Artemis Brauronia on the Acropolis.

English: Statue of a hunting dog. The statue was found on the Acropolis. The precise place that it was found is somewhat obscure: Guy Dickins, Catalogue of the Acropolis Museum, vol. 1 (Cambridge 1912), p. 98, no 143 and the online catalogue of the Acropolis Museum say that it was found north of the Parthenon; Maria Brouskari's Musee de l'Acropole: Catalogue descriptif (Athens 1974), p. 60, no 143, says that it was found south of the Parthenon.
