Neither HandWiki nor KMF Inc. claims copyright ownership over articles or illustrations submitted by contributors. Here is the Copyright Statements of the HandWiki encyclopedia:
Copyright Statements of HandWiki Content
[1] Encyclopedia-style articles and images derived from Wikipedia (or similar web sites) should comply with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Therefore, they must include a notice stating their origin. This is also true for any other license that allows sharing of content.
[2] Authors may choose other licenses for their own work, provided they grant HandWiki permission to host the content. For manuals, books, monographs, lectures, and tutorials, authors may explicitly specify their own licensing terms. For example, authors who wish to prevent modifications by others may apply a more restrictive license. They should clearly state their license and provide the real names of contributors at the bottom of articles so that the content can be traced back to the original authors. Such license agreements may include restrictions on use and disclosure and are protected under intellectual property law.
[3] If no license statement is provided, all original content posted on HandWiki, will, by default, be distributed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. This excludes HandWiki documentation, as stated below.
