â 267 â Revenant à la Ligule, je constate que le mucus est chez elle beaucoup plus abondant que chez le Tr. nodulosus et qu'une bonne partie de celui-là est éliminée par la bothridie terminale (v. p. 265), fait que je n'ai pas remarqué chez le dernier. Je m'explique cette différence en constatant chez le procercoïde de la Ligule la présence d'un réceptacle glan- dulaire situé au milieu des glandes disposées autour de la bothridie terminale. Ce réceptacle (fig. 5) facilite l'élimina- tion des gouttelettes par cette dernière. (On conviendra que ce fait renforce particulièrement la supposition que la masse centrale du procercoïde est un rudiment intestinal, puisque la bothridie terminale est directement en relation avec lui.) Je clos pour le moment ma description et donne 1° un dessin de la tête de la Ligule adulte, car il n'existe pas un dessin adéquat (fig. 6) ; 2° un dessin de la tête du Triaenophorus nodulosus, afin de montrer que l'invagination terminale et les soies cuticu- laires sont des formations constantes dans toutes les phases du développement des parasites et non des particularités du procercoïde seulement. (Voir figure ci-dessous.)
