Bei seinem Besuch im Roten Rathaus trug sich der amtierende Generalsekretär des ZK der KP Chinas und Ministerpräsident des Staatsrates der VR China, Zhao Ziyang, in das Goldene Buch der 750jährigen Stadt ein. Zugegen waren Osker Fischer (r.), Minister für Auswärtige Angelgenheiten der DDR und Oberbürgermeister Erhard Krack (Hintergrund M.).
