The song was recorded in 1936 by "Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys" featuring McAuliffe performing on the lap steel. The origin of this recording is a compilation album entitled "Steelin' It: The Steel Guitar Story" released on Proper Records Ltd.(LC-23498) of London, England. The purpose of the excerpt is to support commentary on the playing of this artist (McAullife) on a historically significant work as it relates to the history of the lap steel guitar.
