DescriptionShadow Blister Effect explanation.webm
English: This video demonstrates the shadow blister effect using three different views of the same setup.
The setup is comprised of a non-point light source, two walls (blue and green), and a backdrop upon which their shadows are cast. Lines are included representing penumbra boundaries for both objects to clearly reveal how their shadows are manipulated.
This rendering is completely conceptual; solid-colored blocks were used to represent shadows. The rendering was created using Blender.
