Summary
DescriptionVorticellaconverts1.ogv
English: Vorticella converts (reverts?) to a telotroch, Magnified 400 times. They do this when enivronmental conditions are unfavorable, so that the free swimming form, the telotroch, can find a more favorable environment, this is futile when it is on a microscope slide, but vorticella have no way of knowing that.
The first part is in normal time and then it speeded up 8 times. There are also a couple of gaps, this is all clear from the time stamp visible in the lower righthand corner.
