From HandWiki

Jeans for Refugees was a global fundraising initiative started by Johny Dar.[1][2] Celebrities donated their jeans to Dar and he painted them to raise money to auction them off for the International Rescue Committee.[3][4] The goal was to collect and paint 100 pairs of jeans from celebrities. From October 24-30, 2016 The Saatchi Gallery in London exhibited the entire collection of 100 jeans for refugees.[5] Celebrities who donated jeans included: Sharon Stone, Emma Watson, Salma Hayek, Sir Elton John, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Daniel Radcliffe, Karlie Kloss, Claudia Schiffer, Harry Styles and others.[6][7] The photographer who documented the campaign was John Swannell.[8] The project raised a total of $352,000, with the most expensive donation from Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah raising $122,000.[1]
