It is an offshoot of the Journal of Materials Science, focusing specifically on materials in medicine and dentistry. Scope

The journal's content focusses on the development of synthetic and natural materials for orthopaedic, maxillofacial, cardiovascular, neurological, ophthalmic and dental applications.
