The Akamai Foundation is an American non-profit organization that sponsors mathematics competitions. It was founded and is supported financially by Akamai Technologies.
The foundation awards annual scholarships to the winners of the high-school competition, the United States of America Mathematical Olympiad,[2] makes awards for specific school mathematics education projects,[3] and sponsors a Magic of Math program aimed at younger students.
