Hong Bang International University is a private university in Ho Chi Minh City.

Hong Bang International University has faculties of law, economics, fine arts, foreign languages. Many professors of HIU come from famous universities and colleges in the United States as a result of cooperation agreement between this university and other American universities. The university has been accredited by three US educational organizations as meeting American education standard.[1]

History

Established in 1997. Since May 2015, HIU officially became a member of NHG Education System.[2]

Programs

HIU offers degree programs in forty disciplines, enrolling an average of 4,000 undergraduate and post-graduate students from sounthern of Vietnam annually. The university is well known for preparing leaders for careers in government, international businesses and journalism. Up to 2017, HIU had more than 66.000 alumni working in Vietnam and APAC.[3]

HIU has achieved a lot of awards from Vietnam government and typical are: Labor Order, third class by the President; Merit by the Prime Minister as well as Merit by Central of the Hochiminh City Communist Youth Union.

Ranking According to the UniRank, Hong Bang International University is ranked 38 in Vietnam.[4]
Recently, following the assessment of The Ministry of Education and Training,[5] the university is in the strong recommended list because of high level educator, international environment and good campus.

Admission

Students come from 63 provinces of Vietnam. The Top are Hochiminh City, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Long An and Binh Thuan.
HIU also has international students, whom coming from Cuba, Cambodia, Korea, Mongolia, Japan and Italia. They join both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
