The Uzbeks raids against Safavids of 1616–1617 were by Uzbeks.
Chronology
In 1617 Muhammad Qoli Durman,Qara Tughma and Qalmaq Muhammad Baqi Bi attacked Safavid's territory.[3] Muhammad Qoli Durman marched from Ankhund to Sarakhs defeating the governor of Maruchaq, and killing governor lf Sarakhs during the second battle. Muhammad Baki Bi attacked Astrabad and Mazandaran.Qara Tughma penetrated into Iran as far as Yazd and came back with a lot of booty, which included large quantities of cattle.[2] [1] During the raids Mir Sultan Hoseyn and Ebn Hoseyn Khan were killed.
