Religion:Šul-pa-e

Šul-pa-e ("brilliant youth") is minor deity of Sumerian religion who first appeared in the Early Dynastic Period. His mythological associations are not clear, although one poem depicts offerings being made to him in the underworld and later traditions associate him with demons. In one tradition, he is the consort of the mother goddess Ninhursag, which breaks with the usual depiction of Ninhursag as the consort of Enki. Šul-pa-e was also one of the astrological names of the planet Jupiter.
