In Bhograi village, no authentic historical information has been found about the time of the founding of Mother Bashuli. There are many legends or legends. In his writings, the late Rahim, one of the most glorious of Bhograi, writes the following legends about the disappearance of Mother Bashuli, the founding of the temple and the worship of the Pandavas. The ancestor of the present panda, the ancestor of the Panda dynasty, comes from the Medinipur area every year for the Durga Puja of the Karat king at Kirtishal Gad in Jayarampur. At that time, Medinipur was in Odisha. Once, he was walking in the dense forest of the deep beehive of Putna village. Exhausted, he remembered Devidurga. Shortly afterwards, an eighteen-year-old girl arrived, or had a baby in her womb, and resolved to go to Panda with her father. The panda agreed, and the girl walked forward. After some distance, Panda found his way. Arriving at a large field, the girl stopped and Panda said she would meet again when she returned. After the Durga Puja in the fort, Panda returned there on the way back. Seeing that the girl is not there but there is a wooden idol and all the jewelery worn by the girl is on the body of the goddess Panda rested there and fell asleep - in the dream the goddess appeared, here she will be in the form of mother Basuli and Bhavani Panda will be worshiped for her ancestry. That is why the Pandavas have been worshiping the service of ‘Maa Bashuli’ ever since.
