CareKit is an SDK (Software Development Kit) offered by Apple Inc. to mobile app developers. Unlike HealthKit and ResearchKit, the previously launched SDKs that targeted fitness wearable OEMs and healthcare industry, CareKit focuses on consumers. Apps developed through CareKit will help consumers to stay informed about their health, symptoms, and medication plans as advised by their healthcare professionals.[1]
