From HandWiki

Prep.Pie (Preppie) is an AI-powered study material generator designed to create personalized exam prep materials for U.S. university students.

Prep.Pie is developed by Mathpresso Inc., a South Korea-based education technology company that operates Asia's largest AI-based, K-12 education platform 'QANDA.'[1]

In September 2023, QANDA raised $8 million (10 billion KRW) from Korea's telecom giant, KT, to accelerate the development of an education-specific Large Language Model. Its previous backers include Google, ByteDance, and Samsung.[2] They announced their expansion into the U.S. market, intending to extend their reach beyond Asia, where they have achieved the highest user traffic for a learning app. [3]

Prep.Pie launched in a closed beta version in October 2023, specifically targetting USC and UCLA students. It is the company's first product to be aimed at university students in the United States. The official launch of Prep.Pie is schleduled for Spring 2024.[4] It uses generative AI to create customized study materials from lecture slides and notes uploaded by students. Its features will include a range of tools including a generator, prep notes, prep cards, and prep sets, along with AI solutions. [5]
