Robo-FTP Server is a commercial FTP Server originally released in 2002 that runs on x86-based computers running Windows. Robo-FTP Server supports serving files to clients running Windows, Linux, Mac OS X as well as others. Remote users can interact securely with Robo-FTP Server using an FTP Client or a web browser. Robo-FTP Server supports End-to-end encryption (E2EE) by performing PGP encryption in the web browser before uploading a file.

Robo-FTP Server enables automation of tasks related to file transfers based on server events such as upload, download, delete, login, logoff, etc. It can perform tasks such as file move/copy/delete/rename, PGP encrypt/decrypt, ZIP/UNZIP, email notification, database actions via ODBC, etc.

Minimum hardware requirements

RAM: 40 MB recommended for every 100 concurrent users. CPU: 1 available CPU core for every 1250 concurrent users recommended. DISK: Minimum of 2 GB of hard drive space recommended to install the software and have room to maintain a typical number of logs. Additional hard drive space will be required for the files you wish to manage using the software.

Networking capabilities

Robo-FTP Server supports FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, and HTTPS.

Compatibility

Robo-FTP Server is supported on 32 bit and 64 bit editions of Windows XP SP3, Server 2003 SP2, Vista SP1, Server 2008 (R1 and R2), 2012 (R1 and R2), 2016 (except Nano as it can't run 32 bit apps), and 2019, and Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10.
