A super-app or superapp is a mobile application that provides multiple services that include financial transactions, effectively becoming a commerca and communication platform in itself. Examples include Tencent's WeChat and Ant Group's Alipay in China and Paytm in India.[1][2] Facebook is widely reported as developing a super-app capability.[3][4]
