The Settlers, the eighth game in the Settlers series, is a classical ‘build-up’ strategy game and is set to launch on Windows in Fall 2019. The idea is to make the game familiar to those who already knows the series, but also bring The Settlers to today's visual and gameplay standards. [1]
The announcement of the game was made at Gamescom 2018. Ubisoft is using the proprietary Snowdrop Engine to develop the game.[2]
