Software:Autonomous Vehicle Animation

Background As global leaders in slide technology, Accuride’s precision engineered movement systems are used in cabinetry, machinery, and other applications around the world. Triad have worked with Accuride for 7 years and in that time have produced a range of 3D animations, presentations, exhibitions graphics and advertising campaigns.

Brief The most recent requirement was for a 3D animated video which would be used for sales and promotional purposes to demonstrate how autonomous vehicles will change the act of driving and transform modern transportation systems. Accuride will play a small part in this transformation, designing and supplying sliding systems to be used in the interiors of autonomous vehicles. The video needed to present the potential uses for Accuride’s slides in a future automotive vehicle.

Solution This creative brief was an exciting one for us to tackle and utilised our creative thinking skills to develop a concept for an autonomous vehicle. There are various interior components within the vehicle that demonstrate where Accuride’s systems are used. Throughout the animation we imagined the way people will interact with vehicle interiors in the near future and showed how the vehicle can adapt to suit the driver’s requirements.

Using 3D modelling and animation skills we built and animation an autonomous vehicle, kitted out with Accuride slides performing functions to enable journeys in comfort and style.

Outcome Our forward-thinking client will use the animation to capture the imaginations of their clients and promote the multiple applications of their sliding systems.
