Public genomics is a genomics[1] branch that was initiated by public organizations such as governments, discontrol centers, and the United Nations . Public genomics is effectively the public facet of personal genomics. While personal genomics is geared more toward genomics resource personal and maximize the utility of genomics for the people, public genomics is geared toward to manage genome information and facilitate a more systematic and fair use of genome information in the society.
