Prismoptera is a monotypic moth genus of the family Bombycidae. It contains the single species Prismoptera opalina, which is found in Brazil . Both the genus and species were first described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1878.[1] The Global Lepidoptera Names Index gives this name as a synonym of Colla.[2]
