Thais (Thalessa) virgata, common name : the aculeate rock shell, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]
Description
The shell size varies between 25 mm and 60 mm
Distribution
This species is distributed in the Red Sea, in the Indian Ocean along Madagascar and in the Indo-Pacific.
