Ceroxys hortulana is a species of picture-winged fly in the genus Ceroxys of the family Ulidiidae[1] found in the Czech Republic, Austria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Corsica, Croatia, France , Germany , Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland , Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine , and Russia .
