The Porto Alegre golden-eyed tree frog (Trachycephalus mesophaeus) is a species of frog in the family Hylidae endemic to Brazil . Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
