Filodes xanthalis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by George Hampson in 1898. It is found on New Guinea (Papua New Guinea, D'Entrecasteaux Islands, Trobriand Islands).[1]

The wingspan is about 40 mm. The forewings are orange yellow with a fuscous costal area. The terminal area is fuscous from two-thirds of the costa to the inner margin near the tornus. The hindwings have a terminal fuscous line.[2]
