Oliva vidua, common name the black olive, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Olividae, the olives.[2]

Description

The length of the shell varies between 28 mm and 70 mm.

Distribution

O. vidua is endemic to the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean.,[3] occurring of the Mascarene Basin, the Philippines , Indonesia and New Guinea.
