Lophioturris indica is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turridae, the turrids.[1]
There is one subspecies : Lophiotoma indica queenslandica Olivera, 2004
Distribution
It is native to the Mascarene basin of the Indian Ocean.[1] The species now also occurs in the Mediterranean, having invaded as a Lessepsian migrant through the Suez Canal.[2]
