Plectranthias takasei, the Hinomaru perchlet, is a fish of the family Serranidae, subfamily Anthiinae.

Distribution

The fish is found in Japan.[1]

Size

This species reaches a length of 4.0 cm (1.6 in).[1]

Etymology

The fish is named in honor of Wataru Takase, who collected the type specimen and provided underwater photographs of the fish.[2]
