ReVanced is a modular patching tool inspired by and intended to continue Vanced following the termination of the YouTube Vanced project.
How it works
ReVanced does not distribute any proprietary files (such as APKs), but provides open-source patches to create patches for Android applications. ReVanced Manager uses patches as its core, and applies the patches selected by the user to the application they chose. On rooted devices, ReVanced can install the patched app over the original (directly overwrites the original application), while on non-rooted devices, ReVanced will install it with a different package name.[1]
History
ReVanced was the subject of two DMCA Takedown notices in December 2022[2][3]
