KOI-7923.01 is a potential extrasolar planet in the habitable zone of its host star (KIC 9084569)[1] in the constellation Cygnus.[2] It was discovered by the Kepler spacecraft in 2017.[3]
KOI-7923.01, if it was confirmed to exist, would have an orbit of 395 days, a radius of 97% of the Earth's, and surface temperature roughly similar to Earth's polar regions.[4][1]
In 2017, KOI-7923.01 was considered a potential habitable planet.
