SysCloud is a Remote backup services Cloud computing security company providing Software as a service to businesses. SysCloud offers several services aimed to keep companies’ Google Apps accounts safe and backed up,[1] along with tools for managing security policies to ensure that an enterprise data can't be shared with users outside of a company.

History

SysCloud was founded in 2010 by Vijay Krishna.

In November 2014, SysCloud raised $2.5 million in Series A funding, allowing the company to expand its backup, security and compliance services to other online tools like Salesforce.com, Office 365 and Dropbox (service). Investment in the company was led by Inventus Capital Partners and KAE Capital.[2]

Services

SysCloud also offers a student safety solution[buzzword] for K12 schools and higher education market. SysCloud has about 2 million users in over 32 countries. G Suite Backup services offer coverage for Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Sites. Office 365 back services offer coverage for Outlook, OneDrive,[3] and SharePoint. Data Privacy solution[buzzword] includes reports on data sharing profile of users, objectionable content, login activities, and personally identifiable information. Compliance solution[buzzword] includes monitoring and alerts for compliance violations for regulations such as HIPAA.
