Pyrausta orphisalis, the orange mint moth or orange-spotted pyrausta, is a species of moth of the family Crambidae. It was described by Francis Walker in 1859.[1][3] It is found in North America from Newfoundland west to British Columbia, south to Florida and New Mexico.[3]
The wingspan is about 15-17 mm.[1][3] The moth flies from mid June to late July depending on the location.[3]
The larvae feed on various mint species, including Monarda.[3]
