Plectranthias morgansi, the flagfin, is a species of fish in the family Serranidae occurring in the western Indian Ocean.[2]

Size

This species reaches a length of 5.0 cm (2.0 in).[3]

Etymology

The fish is named in honor of John Frederick Croil Morgans, a research assistant in the Zoology Department of the University of Cape Town in South Africa, who sent the type specimen to Smith.[4]
