Preamble

We refuse to let ideas gather dust behind closed doors. We reject the long march through gatekeepers and paywalls. We choose speed, openness, and evolution in plain sight.

The Theory of Entropicity(ToE) is not built in secret — it is forged in the open, released in rapid bursts, each one a living step forward.

Introduction

Rationale

In the traditional model, the time from idea to public availability can span months or years, with access often restricted. Obidi's Agile approach treats scientific knowledge as a living product, updated continuously and openly. This accelerates dissemination, fosters broader engagement, and documents the theory’s development in real time.

Application to the Theory of Entropicity(ToE)

The Theory of Entropicity is published as a series of interlinked HandWiki articles:

  • Each article is a “sprint deliverable” — complete enough to stand alone, but part of a larger whole.
  • The ToE Master Index serves as the evolving “product backlog,” guiding readers through the theory’s architecture.
  • Updates, refinements, and new applications are integrated without delay, ensuring the public record reflects the current state of the theory.

Open Source Science (OSS) Approach to Publishing the Theory of Entropicity

From all of the above on Obidi's Agile Manifesto in Publishing, we see how indeed we are setting forth a new approach to the dissemination of scientific ideas, or ideas in general. This paves the way for what we may as well refer to as Open Source Science (OSS), similar to open source software development.

The Theory of Entropicity (ToE) is not only a novel scientific framework — it is also being disseminated through an equally novel methodology: Open Source Science (OSS). This approach applies the principles of open‑source software development to the creation, publication, and refinement of scientific theory.

1. Principles of the OSS Approach

  1. Immediate dissemination — New results, derivations, and applications are published to HandWiki as soon as they are ready, without waiting for traditional journal timelines.
  2. Iterative refinement — Each publication is a “version” of the theory, open to updates, corrections, and expansions in public view.
