Purposetest presence of glucose in human urine

Reaction Agostini is the name of a simplified examination for the presence of glucose in human urine.

The method consists of preparing a solution of sodium chloride and potassium oxide, adding the urine to be investigated. If there is glucose present, the solution becomes red.[1]
