Setarchidae, the deep-sea bristly scorpionfishes, is a small family of deep-sea scorpaeniform fishes. They are small marine fishes, growing up to 25 cm, and are found in tropical and subtropical waters throughout the world.

Not all classifications recognise this family; Nelson and ITIS include it in the family Scorpaenidae.[2][3]
