Undisker is one of oldest [2] [3] [4]disk image tools for Microsoft Windows for data recovery and computer forensics purposes.

Optical media formats
- Captures images from CD/DVD/BD media (including multi-session disks)
- Supports ISO 9660 format (also known as ISO image) and file systems with Joliet extension.

- Supports NRG images (native format of Nero Burning ROM)
Beta as tradition
The latest public version (Undisker 2021) is officially declared as beta for historical reasons to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the very first version[5]
UDSK format
Undisker uses a proprietary format called UDSK. The format is proposed as universal disk image format, independent from storage type and with various compression support. The file format specification is available publicly as Knowledge Base article on Undisker website.[6]
