Graphania omoplaca is a moth of the family Noctuidae.[1] In 1887, Edward Meyrick described the specimen collected near Lake Coleridge and Rakaia.[2] It is endemic to New Zealand.[1] Specimens have also been collected from the Auckland Islands.[3] The host species of G. omoplaca are in the genus Poa.[3] In 2019 Robert J. B. Hoare undertook a major review of New Zealand noctuids. Hoare, having inspected the type material of this species, placed it within the genus Ichneutica.[4]
