An air hose or sometimes air line is a flexible tube for conveying the flow or pressure of air.
Types of air hose:
- In scuba equipment, to carry air from the scuba regulator to other equipment and to the diver.
- To supply low pressure breathing air to standard diving dress
- An essential component of a surface-supplied diving umbilical cable
- In railway air brakes
- In road vehicles, between tractors and semi-trailers which use air brakes.
- To supply compressed air to pneumatic hand tools
