Atelognathus praebasalticus is a species of frog in the family Batrachylidae. It is endemic to Argentina . Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, temperate grassland, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
