Module:Location map/data/France is a location map definition used to overlay markers and labels on an equirectangular projection map of France. The markers are placed by latitude and longitude coordinates on the default map or a similar map image.
Usage
These definitions are used by the following templates when invoked with parameter "France":
{{Location map|France |...}}
{{Location map many|France |...}}
{{Location map+|France |...}}
{{Location map~|France |...}}
Map definition
name = France
- Name used in the default map caption
image = France location map-Regions and departements-2016.svg

Location map, using default map (image)
{{Location map | France | width = 200 | lat_deg = 48.857 | lon_deg = 2.351 | label = Paris }}
Location map many, using relief map (image1)
{{Location map many | France | relief = yes | width = 200 | caption = Two locations in France | lat1_deg = 48.857 | lon1_deg = 2.351 | label1 = Paris | lat2_deg = 43.703 | lon2_deg = 7.266 | label2 = Nice }}
Location map+, using AlternativeMap
{{Location map+ | France | AlternativeMap = France relief location map.jpg | width = 200 | caption = Two locations in France | places = {{Location map~ | France | lat_deg = 48.857 | lon_deg = 2.351 | label = Paris }} {{Location map~ | France | lat_deg = 43.703 | lon_deg = 7.266 | label = Nice }} }}
