NGC 1316C is a galaxy in the New General Catalogue. It is located in the sky near the January constellation. It is a S0 type lenticular galaxy. It was discovered by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop in 1826 with a mirror-type telescope with a diameter of 22.86 cm (9 inches).[1]
